Terms of use

The part that actually matters: some recipes here are written by AI, and AI gets things wrong. If you have a food allergy, read every ingredient yourself before you cook or eat anything. Fuel Forward is food ideas, not medical or nutrition advice.

Food allergies

You can save your allergens, and we filter recipes against them β€” both by asking the AI to avoid them and by scanning the ingredients it writes for those allergens afterwards. That catches a lot, but it cannot catch everything. An AI can invent an ingredient, use an unusual name for one, or miss that a packaged product contains something.

Treat every recipe as a suggestion you still have to check. If a mistake here could send you to hospital, read the ingredient list yourself, every time, and check the label on anything pre-packaged.

Not medical or nutrition advice

Fuel Forwardgives general food ideas for healthy teenagers who play sports. It is not a dietitian, a doctor or a coach, and it doesn't know anything about your body, your health conditions or your training. Nutrition numbers are estimates and will not be exact.

This matters most around weight. If you're cutting weight for a weight class, trying to gain weight, or you have any medical condition, talk to a doctor, a registered dietitian or your coach before you change how you eat. If you're worried about your relationship with food, please talk to an adult you trust.

Cooking safely

You're responsible for cooking safely β€” handling raw meat, cooking things through, using knives and heat, and following storage advice. If you're not sure, ask someone at home.

Using the app

  • You should be 13 or older to use Fuel Forward.
  • Please don't try to break it, overload it, or use scripts to hammer the recipe generator β€” it costs real money to run.
  • Recipes are for your own use. Don't republish the library as your own.
  • Only upload photos you're happy to send β€” of food, not of people.

No guarantees

Fuel Forwardis provided as-is, free, with no promise that it will always work, always be available, or always be correct. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for what happens as a result of using it. That's the standard legal line, but the practical version is simpler: use your judgement, especially about allergies.
